Develcomm was launched in August 2013 and required a memorable and strong branding concept, which relates to the typical Magento look. The client’s briefing included a visual identity to communicate a clean, straightforward and honest approach to their clients.
As part of my collaborative design process, I met the client to discuss the brief and gain an understanding of their expectations, communication goals and company background. After studying the Magento logo I experimented with raster and diagonal lines to give it a more three-dimensional look. I concluded that a web shop, even though it’s online, it is still a store, a virtual room where products are being sold. During the process, the angles of the room changed but the concept stayed the same.
